About Us

Amanda joined Total Vision Eye Health in 2004. Amanda and her husband have been married since 2012, and have a son that was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2016 at the age of 2. He is the most awesome, sweet, loving little hero you will ever meet. Amanda enjoys working with Total Vision Eye Health because they give her every opportunity to learn and grow with her job, and she is looking forward to spend many more years with them.

Tammie joined Total Vision Eye Health in 2016. Tammie comes to us with 17 years experience in the eye care field. Outside of the office, Tammie enjoys spending her free time with her three grandchildren, Jayden, Jonah and Julian. Tammie is involved in charity work and riding motorcycles. Tammie has expressed how happy she is to be apart of a great team and looks forward to getting to know our patients.

Julie joined Total Vision Eye Health in 2012. She enjoys helping patients as well as working with her Total Vision Eye Health team. In her free time Julie enjoys visiting the Biltmore House and hiking with her husband.

Debbie joined Total Vision Eye Health in 2014. She lives in Catawba with her husband and daughter. Debbie has 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, canning and church. Debbie originally joined the practice working in our clinical department but now, looks forward to working on the optical side of eye care and building lasting relationships with patients.

Dawn joined Total Vision Eye Health in 2007. Since joining the practice she has completed and passed the requirements to become a Certified Paraoptometric through the American Optometric Association, and continues to acquire the numerous hours of continuing education required every 3 years to maintain her certification. She specializes in properly fitting eyeglasses. She practices her qualifications and skill sets every week day.

Courtney joined Total Vision Eye Health in 2016. She is a graduate of Kings College, where she completed their medical assisting program. Courtney resides in Maiden with her husband and son.They enjoy taking trips to the beach and being outdoors.

Cindy joined Total Vision Eye Health in 2016. Cindy has been married since 1988. Her and her husband have two children, Logan and Hannah. Logan is Autistic and he has such a loving heart and loves to cut grass, Hannah is a Junior at Gardner Webb university and is going to be a Early Childhood Educator. Cindy has a dog named Murphy and a cat named Chester. Cindy has over 25 years in the medical field and loves her job here at Total Vision Eye Health. Cindy strongly feels “you are treated like family here.”

Amanda joined Total Vision Eye Health in 2004 where she began working as a paraoptometric. Since then she has completed and passed all 3 levels of certifications offered by the American Optometric Association Paraoptometric Section and later became the Practice Administrator in 2011. In accordance with the requirements set up with the AOA, numerous hours of continuing education continue to be completed every 3 years to maintain her certification. Amanda enjoys her work family as well as interacting with patients. At home, Amanda enjoys reading, camping, and being involved with church. Amanda and husband Keith, enjoy time with their 2 children, daughter Hayden and son Easton. You can find Amanda at either of our locations.

Alexa joined Total Vision Eye Health in 2017. She has worked in customer service for almost eight years now. Alexa has experience as a pharmacy tech/cashier as well as attending paralegal school where she worked in an attorney’s office for a year and half after graduating. Alexa got back into the medical field because she realized that was where she was happiest. She is a native of Lincolnton and resides in the area with her husband and son. Outside of work she enjoys singing on the praise team at her church, being with family and friends and being outdoors.

Missy joined Total Vision Eye Health in 2007. In 2009 she became a Certified Paraoptometric through the American Optometric Association, and continues to acquire the numerous hours of continuing education required every 3 years to maintain her certification. Missy has been in the eye care business for 21 years. Missy loves her job as well as spending time with her work family and all of the patients she has the pleasure of helping with at Total Vision Eye Health. Away from work Missy enjoys traveling, concerts, reading and being active in New Covenant UMC. Missy and her husband Steve have a daughter Brooke and her husband Brad, and 2 precious granddaughters Adi and Annie.
